Freya is the Venus-like goddess of love, beauty, and sexuality. She is also the goddess of wealth and gold! Freya has many names.
One among them is Vanadis, which means goddess of the Vanir, or Vanir. And as such she is a true child of nature. She is nature personified, and the embodiment of every little seed, root, leaf, tree, flower, fruit and so on that is growing on this earth.
She is also the powerful magician with full-fledged shamanic skills which enables her to operate at different planes of consciousness simultaneously. She travels between the worlds/dimensions and she gathers knowledge and information vital for the wellbeing of both humans and gods.
As she values all living beings equally highly, she has many animals around her. They serve as her allies and can be of great help at times – some more than others, and they work as her power animals.
I do feel that when I am connecting with Freya, I too benefit to some degree from the power that these animals possess.
I invite you to do this too by doing vision work, following the Druid Forest School Freya Courses and getting some of my Norse Goddess and God Art.
Among these animals are her beloved falcons. Also precious to her is her falcon robe, a beautiful garment made entirely out of falcon feathers, that enables her to travel effortlessly and unseen between the different worlds. How wonderful! We too can do that in Freya-blessed and empowered vision!
