Os is the Rune of Speech. When we achieve the higher speech of leadership and spiritual vision, this Rune is called Ansuz.
Such is the power of the framework the Runes offer us to understand and transform our lives, the point is made that before we can speak properely (the 4th Rune), we must first complete the work of the first three Runes:
Fehu (First, we must value ourselves and know what value is),
Uruz (Second, we must have strength,
and third, we must be able to dwefend ourselves: Thurisaz, the defence Rune.
